M.D.Dr. Hanley founded Cedar Run Eye Center in 1990 and The Surgery Center in 1997. He joined a group practice when he moved to Traverse City in 1985.
A graduate of the Michigan State University Medical School (Lansing), Dr. Hanley completed an internship at Bronson Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan in General Surgery and completed both a residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in the division of Vitreo-Retinal Surgery & Disease at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
